What makes Wildflower Candle Co. different?

At Wildflower Candle Co., we create luxury candles inspired by nature, using 100% all-natural soy wax from American-grown soybeans and phthalate-free, non-toxic fragrance oils. Our candles are vegan, cruelty-free, and free from carcinogens, reproductive toxins, and other harmful chemicals so you can enjoy beautiful scents without compromise.

What ingredients do you use in your candles? 

Our candles are made with thoughtfully selected, high-quality materials that reflect our commitment to clean burning and intentional design. We use:

  • 100% soy wax with no paraffin or petroleum byproducts
  • Non-toxic, phthalate-free fragrance oils
  • Lead-free cotton wicks for a clean, soot-free burn
  • Dried flowers sourced from a certified food-safe facility in Washington State, free from added colors and cross-contamination
  • Eco-friendly, biodegradable glitter
  • Crystal and gemstone chips selected to complement each scent story

Are your candles safe for pets?

Our candles are made with clean-burning, non-toxic ingredients and contain no phthalates, parabens, or known harmful toxins.

While some pets, especially cats, may be sensitive to certain essential oils, the fragrance oils we use are formulated with minimal essential oil content. After consulting with a veterinarian, we’ve been assured that candles, when used as intended, are generally safe around pets.

As always, please be sure to burn candles in well-ventilated areas and keep an eye on your pet for any unusual behavior such as sneezing, excessive licking, or changes in breathing. If you have specific concerns, consult your vet.

Do your candles contain ingredients from California's Proposition 65 list?

No. Our candles are free from any ingredients listed under California's Proposition 65, which identifies chemicals known to cause cancer, reproductive harm, or other health risks.

Are your candles eco-friendly?

Yes! We use sustainable soy wax, lead-free wicks, and recyclable glass jars. Our candles are handcrafted in small batches to reduce waste and ensure the highest quality.

CANDLE CARE & USAGE

How do I get the best burn from my candle?

To ensure a clean, even burn, follow these tips:

  • Always trim the wick to about ¼ inch before lighting. This helps maintain a clean, steady flame and reduces soot.

  • On the first burn, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the jar. This helps prevent tunneling and ensures an even burn.

  • Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow it to cool before relighting.

How long do your candles burn?

Our burn times vary by size.

CANDLE SAFETY

We want your Wildflower candle experience to be as safe as it is beautiful. Please follow these safety guidelines when burning your candle:

  • Always burn your candle within sight. Never leave it unattended.
  • Keep candles away from drafts, flammable materials, children, and pets.
  • Place on a stable, heat-safe surface before lighting.
  • Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each burn to prevent excess soot or high flames.
  • Stop use when ¼ inch of wax remains to prevent overheating the vessel.

Each Wildflower candle comes with care and safety instructions on the bottom of the vessel. Please read before lighting.

Where do you ship?

We currently ship within the United States. If you're outside the U.S., contact us to see if we can accommodate international shipping.

How long will it take to receive my order? 

Orders typically ship within 3-5 business days. You'll receive a tracking number once your order has shipped. 

Do you offer returns or exchanges? 

Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns on used candles. However, if your order arrives damaged, please reach out to us at info@wildflowercandleco.com within 48 hours of delivery, and we'll make it right. 

PRE-ORDER CLAUSE

Occasionally, we offer select items as pre-orders for upcoming launches or limited-edition collections. If a product is marked as pre-order, the estimated ship date will be listed on the product page.

Please note:

  • Your full order will ship once all items are in stock
  • You will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking number as soon as your order is on its way
  • Pre-order ship dates are estimates and may shift slightly due to production or supply chain timelines

We appreciate your patience as we prepare your piece with care. Pre-orders help us reduce waste and ensure thoughtful, intentional inventory.
